Becca Lewis
Lewis is a doctoral student in communications at Stanford University and works at Data & Society, a research institute studying the social and cultural issues arising from data-centric technological development.
Specifically, Lewis researches online political subcultures and grassroots media movements, with a focus on influence-building, media manipulation, and disinformation efforts among these groups.
She earned a master’s degree in social science from the Oxford Internet Institute, where she researched the role of information and digital media technologies in political campaigns.
