The panel featured two distinguished economists: Douglas Holtz-Eakin, President of the American Action Forum, former chief economist of George W. Bush’s Council of Economic Advisers and Wendy Edelberg, Director of the Hamilton Project and senior fellow in economic studies at the Brookings Institution, and former senior economist for Barack Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers.
